About me

Thank you for coming my blog. I live in Japan with my cat. From my childhood, my parents took me to Buddhism temples, Shinto shrines and gardens, because my father’s grandfather had liked to go there with my father as a child, history repeats itself, I’ve visited these places ever since I could remember. Therefore I lived in an old capital city Otsu near Kyoto in my schooldays by good luck, I used to go to see temples and shrines after school very often. Walking along the riverside of Kamo River, I imagined the ancient’s people’s living, and read many historical books or classical novels. At the grad school, I studied Japanese literature, especially classical novel “The Tale of Genji” that was written by a court lady Murasaki-shikibu about 1,000 years ago. I am very happy to introduce the world of Japanese literature, history, garden, nature, architecture by the pictures of those historical place and setting of books in this blog.
