Tofukuji temple is Rinzai sect temple that is 4th of big 5 zen temple (5-zan) in Kyoto. It was built by Michiie Kujyo and monk Enichi from 1236 to 1255. This temple’s view from Tsuten-kyo bridge is very famous because the valley is covered red leaves. When I visited, I pass the Tsuten-kyo bridge for 15 minutes because there were so many people that gathered to watch the beautiful scene of fall leaves in this temple. At Kaizando (Jyorakuan), there is a rocks and sands Japanese garden (Karesansui). It is a good contrast with red leaves valley.
