Myouhou-in Monzeki temple is said to build by Monk Saicho of Tendai sect in Engi era (782-805), and Goshirakawa retired emperor constructed and lived from 1161. Monzeki means the temple whose head priest is a member of the Imperial family, and in the later it simply tells about the high ranked temple. We usually can’t enter the hall. I could only enter the entrance garden, but it was beautiful view of autumn leaves.
