Komyoji temple is located at Nagaoka-kyo in Kyoto. Naozane Kumagai Jiro, who was the Heike’s samurai in “The Tale of Heike”, became a monk and built this temple for his master priest Honen in 1198. This temple’s red leaves are very gorgeous. When I visited, it was a little bit early at its best, they were wonderful and beautiful. Even though it was rain that I had to held an umbrella, I ran to take a picture of this temple’s trees.
