After the Imperial family withdrawing to the palace, we went to the gate. There were some course to exit, and I made a choice to Inui-mon gate near Takebashi station.

Fujimi-yagura (Fuji watch tower) was built in 1659 in Edo period. Stone wall’s height is 14.5m, yagura(watch-tower) is 15.5m.

The imperial palace is a center of Tokyo. This area seems warm because there are willow trees that leaves left green.

The Palace looks like a fortress and not welcoming. Maybe that’s the point: to protect the royal family.
Originally the Imperial palace used to be the Edo castle for Tokugawa Shogun who was the top of samurai, so there are high stone walls and deep fosse in order to protect Shogun.
