- Otutae bridge is 118 meter long. It was all made of timber of Japanese cypress.
- Tokugawa Shogun Yoshimune’s elephant. In 1728, two elephants came to Nagasaki, but female was dead. A 7-year-old male elephant started on March 1729. In Kyoto, he got the official rank “Konan Jyushii (junior 4th rank) Hakuzo (white elephant)” and met the emperor. After 74 days journey, he arrived this garden on May 25th. On 27th, he met Shogun Yoshimune. He stayed here for 12 years (1729-1741), and Gensuke of Nakano village got him.
