At the visitor center of Mt. Akagi, they displayed many photos that are famous Japanese novelists and old pictures. Some are Taisyo era (1912-1926), and some are not written the date, but I guess they were taken in Taisyo era, too.
- Japanese novelist Naoya Shiga and Shinji Kobayashi. In May of 1915, Shiga visited Mt. Akagi with his wife. After his father had got angry for his marriage, Shiga worried and escaped here.
- At Mt. Akagi, Shiga lived in this hut during the summer.

- Kourin Takamura (sculptor of Meiji, 1852-1934) and his son Koutarou (novelist, poet and sculptor, 1883-1956) at Akagi shrine in 1929. Akagi shrine is Kourin’s guardian deity of his birthplace (Ubusunagami).

- After Kono lake, I visited the hot spring of the Michi-no-eki government-designated rest area at the foot of Mt. Akagi.
