I went to the National Theatre to watch the traditional Japanese dance in Tokyo. My mother’s friend, who is the head of the Japanese dance school “Fujikage”, has a dance recital for the 15th anniversary of becoming the head of school (Iemoto) and the memorial performance of her husband. It was a good performance.

These are wonderful photos, the theatre is beautiful! Those lights look like crystal fireworks.
The images of Bunraku make me curious, I have never seen traditional Japanese puppetry.
Bunrakuk dolls are wearing beautiful kimono, and some of the famous stories are double suicide of Edo period by Monzaemon Chikamatsu. While I was watching Bunraku, dolls seemed like real man and woman.
