Today I went to Ueno park to watch Vermeer’s masterpiece. Last time, I watched “Young Lady with a Pearl Necklace” at National Museum of Western Art, so this time’s target is other two, “Diana and her companions” and “Girl with a pearl earing” at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. In front of the gate, there are more than 300 people to wait for entering, and so many people also are waiting and lining in front of the “Girl with a pearl earing” to watch it. I found there are two gates, one gate was for the person to hope to close to the picture, but they had to wait. The other gate was the people for watching a little bit far from the picture, but we was able to go soon. Though I didn’t have a time to wait more 45 minutes, most of them were lining to wait their order. They were so patient.
