During my Nagasaki travel, I met many characters. I guess Japanese prefer manga or image character. It’s a curious thing, but I certainly don’t know the reason why I like characters when I grew up even though I didn’t like them in my childhood. Anyway, I want to cheering them when I see some characters/clarks promote or sell hard.

Hi! I have just nominated you for A Lovely Blog Award http://historyoftheancientworld.wordpress.com/2012/07/26/one-lovely-blog-award/
I would be honoured if you accept.
Thank you very mush for nomination.
I love the photos of your interesting visit. The Nyoro-Nyoro dolls are great, I love the Moomin books. Do they have Miyazaki Tortoro dolls also?
I have some Totoro’s doll in my house; a blue middle size Totoro and a small white one. I guess many Japanese family also have totoro’s dolls. Hayao Miyazaki is one of the most popular directors in Japan. Today I went to the Tokyo station, there are the name of street “Character street” where are some character goods store of manga or anime, i.e. Totoro & Miyazaki character (of course), one piece (Jump manga), Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Ultraman, Tomica’s car, Kabuki, Plarail of train, Lego, Miffy and so on.
What a lot of fun. A delight to see. No wonder you like characters. Virginia
